2025 Clear Creek Classic Recap
2025 Papa Johns sponsored Clear Creek Classic (Recap)
We had a full field of 46 teams to compete in this year’s classic. The weather cooperated and although it was the typical July weather (hot), we did manage to get the tournament in without any weather delays.
We offered a breakfast buffet each morning for the golfers. The 1st day of competition was a shotgun start at 9am. Once the golfers had completed their round, they were provided a catfish, fries and coleslaw plate furnished by Jumbo’s burgers, wings and more. The food was fantastic. At the end of Sunday’s round, Papa Johns provided pizza for all of the golfers and tournament workers.
The tournament committee flighted the teams according to the day 1 scores that were posted. We wound up with 4 Flights of teams. Once the teams were Flighted, we held our Calcutta on Saturday afternoon.
