2025 Alpine Bay Member/Guest Recap

We had a full field of 54 teams to compete this year. The weather was perfect on both days. It was a shotgun start and the pace of play was pretty good. Thanks to all the teams for moving along nicely.

The Alpine Bay (Men’s Golf Association) provided breakfast both mornings and the afternoon meals were provided by Carpanetti’s  Italian in Moody (Saturday) and PapaJohns in Pell City (Sunday).

The field was divided into Five Flights after the scores were posted from Saturday’s Shamble round of golf. We held our Calcutta on Saturday afternoon and it was for Sunday’s round (Scramble format) only.

We had a $50.00 closest to the pin prize on all four par 3s each day. Mike Cooper was closest on #4 on day 1 at 2’3”. Andy Payant was 6”6” on #8, Max Bauder was 5”1” on #14 and Ray was 3’3” on #17.

On Day 2 Kerry Cochran was 4” away on #4, Casey Snow was 18” on #8. Helen Spradley was 3”8” on #14 and Hunter Payant was 4’2” on #17. Congratulations to all of these golfers for such good shots.
