We had a full field of 44 teams to participate in our 2024 Clear Creek Classic. It was hot and humid for both days but we were fortunate enough to dodge the severe weather that was a threat on both days. We did have a brief down pour of rain near the conclusion of the second round.
The BBQ rib plate meal that was served to the golfers at the conclusion of the 1st round was wonderful and it was prepared by Half Time Bar BQ located in Lincoln AL. We held our Calcutta after the meal was served and the Flighting had been established. Pa Pa John’s provided the pizza at the conclusion of the second day of play.

Thanks to all of our Summer Series of tournaments Sponsors and to everyone that participated. A special thanks to the staff and volunteers of Alpine Bay for making this event happen. Ray Ferguson and the course maintenance crew did a fantastic job battling all the rain and lightning damage that we have encountered in the past few weeks. (We never complain about free rainfall). They had the course looking good for the Classic. The men and ladies behind the counter and working the grille/beverage cart also did a fantastic job.
Once again congratulations to all the winners and we look forward to the 2025Clear Creek Classic.
